An experienced SEN Teaching Assistant is required for a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hounslow, starting in September on a full-time, long-term basis, ideally for the full academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and proactive SEN TA with strong experience supporting children with additional needs within Early Years, particularly in Reception. The school has a nurturing environment, excellent SEN support structures, and a strong focus on helping every child reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will be supporting pupils with a range of needs including ASD, speech and language difficulties, communication needs, and children requiring additional emotional and behavioural support. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support staff to provide tailored interventions and consistent daily support.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant within EYFS/Reception
  • Strong understanding of ASD, speech and language needs, and early childhood development
  • A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
  • Confidence managing behaviour and supporting emotional regulation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
