Reeson Education are supporting a large mixed secondary school in Surrey who require a History Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
The school is easily accessed by train from central London. Staff are dedicated to ensuring students receive excellent pastoral care and personal development. A balanced curriculum ensures students are equipped for the next stage of their education, while providing the opportunity to develop passion and interest in a wide variety of subjects, both inside and outside of the classroom.
The school is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and innovative History Teacher to be part of a vibrant and supportive department. The successful candidate must be able to ensure high achievement and the most positive outcomes for all students.
The school will consider experienced candidates as well as newly qualified teachers (NQT) and have an excellent record of supporting teachers with induction year.
Job Purpose:
- To establish outstanding provision within the History department
- To be accountable for student progress and development across KS3 & KS4
- To ensure high standards of teaching and learning across the subject
- To ensure that all school policies and procedures are implemented and applied consistently by all colleagues in the subject area.
