Full‑time role starting in September at a new specialist Autism School.

Role – SENCO

The successful SENCO will oversee the coordination of special educational needs provision across the school and ensure pupils receive high‑quality support.

  • Lead SEND provision across the St. Albans school
  • Support staff with effective strategies for autism and additional needs
  • Work with families and external professionals
  • Oversee EHCP processes and reviews
  • Support assessment and progress tracking
  • Develop inclusive teaching approaches
  • Work closely with therapists and education professionals

Ideal Candidate

  • Holds or is working towards the NASENCO qualification
  • Has experience supporting pupils with autism and complex needs
  • Understands SEND legislation and best practice
  • Is passionate about improving outcomes for children
