Role – SENCO
The successful SENCO will oversee the coordination of special educational needs provision across the school and ensure pupils receive high‑quality support.
- Lead SEND provision across the St. Albans school
- Support staff with effective strategies for autism and additional needs
- Work with families and external professionals
- Oversee EHCP processes and reviews
- Support assessment and progress tracking
- Develop inclusive teaching approaches
- Work closely with therapists and education professionals
Ideal Candidate
- Holds or is working towards the NASENCO qualification
- Has experience supporting pupils with autism and complex needs
- Understands SEND legislation and best practice
- Is passionate about improving outcomes for children
- Can lead, inspire and support colleagues
