Role Overview
In this role, you will create meaningful outdoor learning experiences that support children's educational, emotional and social development.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Forest School sessions for children aged 4 to 13 years
- Plan activities that promote confidence, independence and teamwork
- Support pupils with autism, speech and language needs and developmental differences
- Create safe and structured outdoor learning opportunities
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and support professionals
- Monitor pupil progress and celebrate achievements
About the Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a dedicated Forest School Teacher who:
- Has a Level 2 or 3 qualification as a Forest School Leader
- Has experience delivering Forest School programmes
- Has a strong understanding of autism and additional needs
- Is creative, patient and enthusiastic
- Can inspire children through practical, hands‑on learning
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team
