Reeson Education is working with a welcoming primary school in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire to find a passionate Early Years Practitioner. If you have experience working with young children and live in or around Broxbourne, Hoddesdon, or nearby areas, this Early Years Practitioner opportunity is ideal for you.
The Role: This Early Years Practitioner role involves supporting children in their Reception year, helping them develop socially, emotionally, and academically through engaging activities. As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll work as part of a dedicated EYFS team, supporting both whole-class learning and children with additional needs.
- Supporting the delivery of the EYFS curriculum through play-based learning
- Helping children develop independence, communication, and social skills
- Providing 1:1 and small group support for children with SEN or developmental needs
- Assisting with daily routines including snack time, toileting, and transitions
- Contributing to assessments and observations to track children's development
What We're Looking For:
- Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare (essential)
- Proven experience as an Early Years Practitioner in a nursery or school environment
- Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
- A caring, enthusiastic approach with excellent teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable: Experience supporting children with SEN, Speech & Language delays, or ASD.
