A welcoming and supportive primary school in Putney is seeking an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team after the May half term. This is a part-time opportunity working 3 days per week across Key Stage 1 and Lower/Upper Key Stage 2, supporting classes from Year 1 through to Year 5. The school is looking for a proactive HLTA who can confidently lead learning, cover classes when required and support pupils across a range of abilities.
The school has a strong leadership team, excellent behaviour across the school and a collaborative staff culture. This role would suit someone who enjoys variety and building strong relationships across different year groups.
The Role:
- HLTA position working across Year 1 to Year 5
- Delivering planned lessons during teacher release time
- Supporting pupils in class, small groups and interventions
- Assisting teachers with classroom organisation and learning support
- 3 days per week
- Starting after May half term
The Ideal Candidate:
- HLTA qualification or significant equivalent experience
