Senior Science Technician Immediate start Excellent salaries Great opportunity for an experienced Science Technician or Senior Science Technician looking to progress their career A Senior Science Technician is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London. The school is ideally seeking a Senior Science Technician with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a UK Secondary School setting supporting KS3 – KS5 Science classes. This Senior Science Technician position will be full time and permanent. The contract for this Senior Science Technician post will be Term Time Only (39 weeks). Working hours and days for this Senior Science Technician role will be 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours a week). If appointed as a Senior Science Technician your duties will include but not be limited to: Working alongside Science Teachers to plan and carry out practical lessons Training other Science Technicians to ensure they are following correct safety procedures Maintaining accurate and up to date record of lab equipment The salary for this Senior Science Technician position will be between £35200 and £37423, subject to pro rata, depending on the qualifications and experience of each applicant. The School An Ofsted rated \’Outstanding\’ Free School & Sixth Form, located in the London Borough of Wandsworth. Having opened in 2012 the school is now fully subscribed with 800 places for pupils aged 11 to 18 year olds. The school is built on the landmark site of a former hospital and continues its tradition of service to the local community. The building is also able to operate as a doctors\’ surgery for local families. The listed building has been fully refurbished and modernised to provide excellent learning facilities yet still preserves the building\’s historic features. High quality classrooms and specialist spaces for RS, Music and Technology have been created as well, ensuring teaching is delivered effectively. The school has two courts, sports hall and makes good use of local facilities for outdoor games and competitive sport.
