We are seeking an inspiring SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and well-supported specialist setting in the Wigan area. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a committed team that places inclusion, wellbeing, and personalised learning at the heart of everything they do. 🌟 The Role As an SEN Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP targets. Support pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs, and moderate learning difficulties. Create a structured, safe, and engaging learning environment. Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCO, therapists, and families. Track and evidence pupil progress using personalised learning plans. Contribute to annual reviews and multi-agency meetings. The Ideal Candidate You will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Have experience working with pupils with SEND (mainstream with SEN experience or specialist provision). Demonstrate strong behaviour management with a nurturing, therapeutic approach. Be adaptable, resilient, and solution-focused. Have high expectations for both academic and personal development. Be committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
