A beautiful primary school based in Notting Hill is looking for a compassionate and patient teaching assistant to join their supportive team. This primary school located in a well-known area of London has great outdoor facilities and boasts spacious halls and classrooms. As an SEMH (social emotional mental health) teaching assistant, you will be working with 1 or 2 children to ensure they are safe and supported throughout the school day. You will provide a stimulating and well-structured learning environment suitable for pupils with SEMH, providing emotional support, creating strong relationships, working with the SENCO and teachers to ensure the best levels of care and education, liaising with outside professionals such as occupational therapists and keeping parents up to date and informed.
