An outstanding school in West London seeks an Education Welfare Officer to start ASAP. This full-time role intends to promote positive attitudes towards regular school attendance and improve attendance and engagement.

The role includes monitoring whole-school attendance data, identifying key areas of concern, working with pupils, staff, parents, and carers to reduce absence, and addressing persistent absence as a safeguarding issue.

Pay: £140‑£180 per day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and monitor attendance throughout the school.
  • Oversee daily attendance and ensure clear communication with the admin team when absence is reported.
  • Contribute to the emotional, physical, spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development of all students through delivery of a variety of interventions.
  • Model exemplary behaviour, conduct, dress, attendance, and punctuality.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a school is essential.
  • Must have school-based experience.
  • Must be familiar with Arbor.
