Reception Teacher - The Role:As a Reception Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning within a reception class, creating an engaging and stimulating environment where children can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
The successful Reception Teacher will:- Plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons that inspire a love of learning
- Create a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
- Use effective assessment strategies to accelerate pupil progress
- Develop strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Support pupils to achieve their full potential across all areas of learning
- Promote high expectations for behaviour, attainment and personal development
- Work collaboratively with the wider EYFS and leadership team
- Foster children's confidence, independence and curiosity
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is ESSENTIAL
- UK-based teaching experience within EYFS is ESSENTIAL
- Previous experience teaching within a reception class is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- Ability to inspire, motivate and engage young learners
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
