About the Intervention Specialist Role

As an Intervention Specialist, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support to improve their academic progress, confidence, and engagement in learning. You will deliver structured interventions, monitor progress, and collaborate with teaching staff to ensure positive outcomes for all learners.

Key Responsibilities as an Intervention Specialist

  • Targeted Intervention Delivery: Deliver targeted one-to-one and small-group interventions to support pupil progress.
  • Learning Gap Identification: Identify learning gaps and implement effective intervention strategies.
  • Confidence & Engagement Development: Support pupils in developing confidence, independence, and engagement with learning.
