This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school community on a full-time, long-term fixed-term contract.
The school is seeking an inspirational Reception Teacher who is passionate about Early Years education and committed to ensuring every child enjoys their learning whilst achieving their full potential. This Reception Teacher role would suit a creative and nurturing practitioner who can provide engaging learning experiences and establish excellent foundations for children's educational journeys.
Reception Teacher - The RoleAs a Reception Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning within a reception class, creating an engaging and stimulating environment where children can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons that inspire a love of learning
- Create a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
- Use effective assessment strategies to accelerate pupil progress
- Develop strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Support pupils to achieve their full potential across all areas of learning
- Promote high expectations for behaviour, attainment and personal development
- Work collaboratively with the wider EYFS and leadership team
- Foster children's confidence, independence and curiosity
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is ESSENTIAL
- UK-based teaching experience within EYFS is ESSENTIAL
- Previous experience teaching within a reception class is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- Ability to inspire, motivate and engage young learners
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
