Reeson Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a prestigious prep school in Kensington & Chelsea, teaching a Year 1 class from now until the end of the year. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate primary teacher who enjoys working with younger pupils and is committed to creating an engaging, nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
The Role
- Teaching a Year 1 class within a well-resourced prep school
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
- Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Has experience teaching within KS1, ideally Year 1
- Has a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
- Is passionate about working with young children
- Is creative, enthusiastic and confident in the classroom
- Has excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Can commit to the role from ASAP until the end of the year
