Experienced Primary School Teacher Required
Due to start in September 2026, we are looking for an M3 or above Primary School Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Harrow. The role will support teachers across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, with the specific year group determined based on experience and preferences.
Responsibilities
- Stay up to date with educational research and policy developments through training, workshops, and professional reading, while actively implementing school and local authority initiatives.
- Promote a positive and inclusive school culture by modelling excellent teaching practice, supporting colleagues, and contributing to wider school life and external partnerships.
- Plan and deliver a high-quality, inclusive curriculum across the primary phase, ensuring all pupils are challenged and supported to achieve strong progress across core and foundation subjects.
- Monitor pupil progress effectively, using assessment data to identify needs, implement targeted interventions, and close learning gaps to raise attainment.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to meet individual pupil needs and ensure consistent communication around learning and development.
Ideal Candidate
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within the primary phase (EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2)
- Be committed to delivering engaging, inclusive, and well-structured lessons
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be a reflective, proactive team player with a positive attitude towards continuous improvement
Salary and Working Conditions
Salary or daily rate ranges are stated in the advert. Higher rates apply to candidates who meet enhanced experience, training or qualification requirements specified. All daily/hourly rates quoted are inclusive of holiday pay at 12.07%.
