Immediate start with excellent rates of pay. Flexible work pattern available. Suitable for a PE ECT or experienced PE Teacher. Only suitable for a qualified PE Teacher with QTS.

A PE Teacher is needed in an All-Girls Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London. This PE Teacher position will be part time and temporary in the first instance. You will need to cover KS3 to KS4 PE classes if appointed as a PE Teacher. The rates of pay for this PE Teacher post will be between £140 to £200 a day, depending on the experiences and qualifications of each applicant.

The School: A highly successful All-Girls Academy/Comprehensive School & Sixth Form, for pupils aged 11 to 19 years old, located in the London Borough of Wandsworth. Ofsted has rated the school as 'Good' across the board. It is also one of only two Secondary Schools in London and one of sixteen in the UK, to have been awarded the highest level of the UNICEF Rights Respecting School Award: Level 2. They hold Artsmark Gold, Sportsmark and Healthy Schools status, as well as SMSC Quality Mark and International Schools Mark. The school has previously won the UK's leading architecture award, the RIBA Sterling Prize.

Requirements: You're encouraged to apply if you're a recently qualified PE Teacher or experienced PE Teacher. Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained PE Teacher or overseas trained PE Teacher. All applicants must have the following in order to be shortlisted for this PE Teacher role:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
  • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
  • Experience as a PE Teacher in UK schools
