Reeson Education is delighted to be recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the OL9 area of Greater Manchester. This is a full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant opportunity to start as soon as possible, supporting children with a range of special educational needs across the school.
This Teaching Assistant role involves working closely with pupils who require additional nurturing, care, and support to help them thrive both academically and emotionally. You will be joining a dedicated, friendly team who are passionate about creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for every child.
About the Role:- Support children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, sensory processing needs, MLD, and communication difficulties.
- Work 1:1 or in small groups to provide tailored learning support and encouragement.
- Assist in creating a calm, structured, and engaging learning environment.
- Use patience, empathy, and understanding to help pupils regulate emotions and engage positively in learning.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
- Have prior experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly within a primary or SEN setting (desirable but not essential).
- Be nurturing, patient, and committed to helping every child reach their potential.
- Be adaptable and proactive, with a caring approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
- Be a reliable and compassionate team player who genuinely enjoys working with children.
