This is an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school and make a real difference to a young child's learning and development.
The Role
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Reception pupil
- Support the child's learning, development and engagement
- Assist with classroom activities and encourage positive participation
- Help develop confidence, independence and social skills
- Work closely with the class teacher and wider support team
- Promote a positive and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with children, ideally within Early Years or Primary
- Patient, caring and nurturing approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to build a strong relationship with the pupil
- Proactive, adaptable and enthusiastic
- Passionate about supporting children to reach their potential
