Reeson Education are currently working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Southall who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years Teacher or an ECT looking to join a nurturing school where children are at the heart of everything they do.

The Role

As the Reception Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating, engaging and nurturing learning environment where children can develop their confidence, independence and love of learning.

  • Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Supporting children's academic, social and emotional development.
  • Creating an exciting and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Assessing and tracking pupil progress effectively.
  • Working closely with teaching assistants and other members of staff.
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and carers.
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school.

The Ideal Candidate

The school are looking for a Reception Teacher who is:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Passionate about Early Years education.
  • Confident planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Warm, nurturing and enthusiastic.
  • Able to build strong relationships with children and families.
  • Organised, proactive and a strong team player.
  • Committed to providing the very best outcomes for every child.
