A Graduate Cover Supervisor is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London. This Graduate Cover Supervisor position will be part time and temporary in the first instance.

If appointed as a Graduate Cover Supervisor, your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Covering different lessons in the absence of class teachers
  • Managing pupil behaviour effectively and promoting positive behaviour
  • Engaging with pupils in classes and ensuring the school's behaviour policies
  • Holding good understanding of ICT and how to carry out basic administrative tasks
  • Demonstrating a positive attitude and adapting to different situations effectively

The rates of pay for this Graduate Cover Supervisor post will be between £82.14 to £130 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The School: An 'Outstanding' Secondary School & Sixth Form in the London Borough of Merton. It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff. 90% of students stay in education or employment after Key Stage 4. The site has its own dedicated SEN Support Centre and a variety of sports facilities. Ofsted have noted there is a positive culture of learning and a strong sense of community.

Requirements: You will be considered for this Graduate Cover Supervisor role if you specialise in any field or subject. Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Graduate Cover Supervisor or overseas trained Graduate Cover Supervisor. All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a Graduate Cover Supervisor:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
  • UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent
  • Experience of working with children/teenagers or as a Graduate Cover Supervisor in UK schools
