About the SEN Maths Teacher Role:

- Provide direct instruction, reinforce routines, and support learners with complex needs through consistent, methodical teaching.
Responsibilities:
- Structured Maths Instruction: Deliver clear, step-by-step lessons tailored to SEN learners.
- Routine & Behaviour Leadership: Maintain steady routines, boundaries, and high expectations.
- Targeted Interventions: Provide precise support to strengthen numeracy, logic, and problem-solving.
- Progress Monitoring: Track academic progress, behaviour, and lesson outcomes.
- Professional Coordination: Work effectively with support staff, leadership, and external agencies.
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching Maths within mainstream, SEN, SEMH, or alternative provision environments.
- Strong presence with direct, controlled communication.
- Confidence managing challenging behaviour with authority and consistency.
- Logical, organised teaching methods and firm decision-making.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through Reeson Education.
