Reeson Education are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing and inclusive SEN primary school in the M20 area. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting pupils with complex learning, emotional, and behavioural needs. The Level 3 Teaching Assistant will play a key role in supporting pupils aged 5-11 who have experienced trauma, display challenging behaviours, and require a calm, consistent, and structured learning environment. You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and the wider support team to help every child achieve personal and academic success.

About the Level 3 Teaching Assistant role:

  • Provide daily support to pupils with social, emotional, and communication needs.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Lead small group and one-to-one intervention sessions to target key areas of learning and behaviour.
  • Step in to lead the class when required, following plans and maintaining routines.
  • Encourage positive relationships, emotional regulation, and resilience among pupils.
  • Implement behaviour support strategies with empathy, patience, and professionalism.
  • Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO to track pupil progress and adapt support strategies.
