A Physics Teacher is needed in an All Boys Secondary School in South West London. This Physics Teacher position will be full time and fixed term in the first instance. Teaching for this Physics Teacher post will be for mostly Year 7 to 11 Science classes, with the possibility of some KS5 Physics lessons being added to the timetable in the future.

The rates of pay for this Physics Teacher role will range from £195 to £270 a day, depending on the experiences and qualifications of each applicant.

The School

A Non-Selective State Secondary School for boys aged 11 to 16 years old with a mixed Sixth Form, located in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. It was founded in 1931 and there are currently just under 1000 pupils on enrolment. They are partnered with the local girls school, 2 universities and they have a longstanding educational partnership with an independent school.

Requirements

  • Applications are welcome if you’re a recently qualified Physics Teacher or experienced Physics Teacher.
  • You’re also welcome to apply if you’re a British trained Physics Teacher or overseas trained Physics Teacher.
  • All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a Physics Teacher:
    • Right to work in the UK
    • UK QTS or overseas equivalent
    • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
    • Experienced as a Physics Teacher in UK schools
