Start: ASAP, following registration and safeguarding checks.Your Role as a Playworker As a Playworker, you will support the club team in supervising children, delivering enjoyable activities and maintaining a welcoming environment before and after school. Organise games, arts and crafts, outdoor play and age-appropriate activities. Encourage children to participate, make choices and play cooperatively. Support breakfast and snack routines, following hygiene and allergy procedures. Maintain positive behaviour through clear expectations and a calm approach. Respond appropriately to first aid incidents within your training and follow reporting procedures. Follow safeguarding, attendance and collection procedures.What We're Looking For in a Playworker Current Paediatric First Aid training is essential. Previous experience working with children in a school or nursery is essential. A Playworker who is reliable, attentive and confident supervising groups. Availability for breakfast and/or after-school club sessions. Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues. An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
