Reeson Education is working with a well-respected and inclusive primary school in Brent that is looking to recruit a Team Teach Certified Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with an interest in supporting children's learning and development, and a commitment to helping every child thrive in a nurturing and ambitious school community.
Key Responsibilities of this role:
- As a Learning Support Assistant, you may support pupils individually and in small groups, helping them to access learning across the curriculum and running your own nurture group with SEN children, this role is working 1:1 with one child on a daily basis.
- De-escalation, the ability to calm children down and reduce anxiety leading to behaviour problems.
- Provide targeted support for children with a range of needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support the school's values around anti-racism, equity and community engagement.
The Ideal Candidate for this Team Teach Certified Teaching Assistant vacancy:
- In order to work as a Team Teach Certified Teaching Assistant, you must remain positive, resilient and have a caring approach to working with children; a certification in Team Teach is essential.
- A team player who is reliable, enthusiastic and proactive.
- Experience working with primary-aged children is desirable.
