Reeson Education are supporting an outstanding secondary school that requires an enthusiastic and ambitious Lead Teacher of Food Technology to join their successful Design & Technology Department on a one‑year fixed‑term contract.

About the Role

You will be responsible for promoting high standards of teaching and learning, driving student achievement and contributing to the continued success of the Design & Technology department. As part of the school’s wider Teaching and Learning Team, you will work closely with senior leaders to support whole‑school improvement initiatives and champion the effective use of digital technology in education.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Be a qualified Food Technology or Food & Nutrition specialist.
  • Have experience teaching across Key Stages 3, 4 and ideally Key Stage 5.
  • Be ready to lead and develop a curriculum area within Design & Technology.
  • Demonstrate a passion for food education, nutritional science and global food cultures.
  • Deliver engaging, creative and challenging lessons that inspire students to achieve their potential.
  • Contribute to departmental and whole‑school teaching and learning strategies.
  • Thrive in a collaborative and fast‑paced school environment.
