Outstanding school in West London seeks an Education Welfare Officer to start ASAP. Full‑time role intends to promote positive attitudes towards regular school attendance and improve attendance and engagement. The role monitors whole‑school attendance data, identifies key areas of concern, works with pupils, staff, parents and carers to reduce absence, and addresses persistent absence as a safeguarding issue.
Pay: £140‑£180 per day
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and monitor attendance throughout the school.
- Oversee daily attendance and ensure clear communication with the admin team when absence is reported.
- Contribute to the emotional, physical, spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of all students through delivery of a variety of interventions.
- Model exemplary behaviour, conduct, dress, attendance and punctuality.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a school is essential.
- Must have school‑based experience.
- Must be familiar with Arbor.
