A Biology Teacher is needed in an All Girls Grammar Secondary School & Sixth Form in South East London. This Biology Teacher position will be part time and temporary to cover Maternity Leave. Teaching for this Biology Teacher post will be for all key stages, including GCSE and A Level classes.
The rates of pay for this Biology Teacher role will be between 170 and 280 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.
School: A Grammar School with Academy status for pupils aged 11 to 18 years old, located in the London Borough of Bexley. Years 7 to 11 are for girls only and the sixth form is mixed. Its history dates back to 1937 when it was established. There are currently just over 1600 pupils enrolled at the school. The Arts have a long tradition of excellence in the school and they have been awarded the Gold Arts Mark.
Requirements: You’re welcome to apply if you’re a recently qualified Biology Teacher or experienced Biology Teacher. Applications are also welcome if you’re a British trained Biology Teacher or overseas trained Biology Teacher. All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a Biology Teacher:
- Right to work in the UK
- UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
- Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
- Experience as a Biology Teacher in UK Secondary schools
