About the Role

We are looking for a committed and caring 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join our Key Stage 2 team in Chiswick. You will be working directly with a child in Year 3, providing personalised support to help them access the curriculum, develop confidence, and achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver 1:1 support to a child in Year 3, adapting learning tasks to their individual needs
  • Support the child with both academic progress and social/emotional development
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies and interventions
  • Encourage independence and resilience in learning
  • Build positive relationships with the child, their family, and external professionals where necessary

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with children in Key Stage 2, ideally in a 1:1 or SEND support role
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
  • The ability to use initiative and follow learning plans
  • A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting learning
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
