Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Reeson Education is looking for a committed and passionate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive SEN school. This Teaching Assistant role is full-time, long-term, and set to start ASAP.
Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:
* Work as a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND in class, in groups, and 1:1
* Help children regulate emotions, manage behaviours, and build confidence
* Support learning across the curriculum and implement differentiated strategies
* Liaise with teaching staff and therapists to follow care and learning plans
* Encourage independence and celebrate every small win
The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will:
* Be a reliable, proactive, and patient Teaching Assistant
* Have experience supporting children with SEND, including ASD, SEMH, ADHD
* Be enthusiastic and consistent in providing calm and positive support
Teaching Assistant Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
