An Engineering Teacher is needed in a Non-Denominational All Boys Secondary School & Sixth Form in West London. This Engineering Teacher position will be full time and long term temporary in the first instance. Teaching for this Engineering Teacher post will be for KS3 to KS5 classes. The rates of pay for this Engineering Teacher role will be between £170 and £280 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The School

Located in the London Borough of Hounslow, the school is a short distance from the River Thames. In the most recent inspection, the school was rated 'Good' across all areas by Ofsted. It is one of the oldest schools in the area, tracing its history back to 1630. From Year 7 to 11, the school has an intake for boys only with girls being admitted to the school's Sixth Form. The Sixth Form is part of a consortium with other Secondary schools in the borough. The main school site is located near a famous country estate. In 2003, the school gained Sports College status and in 2005 was named Sports College of the Year in the UK. Several professional athletes, sportsmen and MPs have been former pupils.

Requirements

  • Applications are welcome if you’re an Engineering ECT or experienced Engineering Teacher.
  • You’re also encouraged to apply if you’re a British trained Engineering Teacher or overseas trained Engineering Teacher.

    • Right to work in the UK
    • UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
    • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
    • Experience as an Engineering Teacher in UK schools
