This role is for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive SEN school in Ilford. It offers a long-term term-to-perm position with a permanent contract available from January 2027.

You will be teaching a small KS1 class of 6 pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver a sensory-based curriculum
  • Focus on speech, communication and social skills development
  • Provide support from two experienced LSAs
  • Participate in SEN training and professional development
  • Work with a supportive leadership team

Ideal Candidate

  • QTS, QTLS or overseas equivalent
  • Caring, patient and nurturing approach
  • Passion for supporting children with additional needs
  • Confidence using initiative and adapting learning
  • Experience in SEN, ASD, SLD or EYFS (advantageous but not essential)
