This role is for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive SEN school in Ilford. It offers a long-term term-to-perm position with a permanent contract available from January 2027.
You will be teaching a small KS1 class of 6 pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). Responsibilities include:
- Deliver a sensory-based curriculum
- Focus on speech, communication and social skills development
- Provide support from two experienced LSAs
- Participate in SEN training and professional development
- Work with a supportive leadership team
Ideal Candidate
- QTS, QTLS or overseas equivalent
- Caring, patient and nurturing approach
- Passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Confidence using initiative and adapting learning
- Experience in SEN, ASD, SLD or EYFS (advantageous but not essential)
