THE ROLE
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of primary year groups.
- Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning during the class teacher's absence.
- Maintain a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with each school's policies.
- Adapt to different school settings and build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Support pupils' academic progress, confidence and development.
- Ensure children remain engaged, motivated and supported throughout the school day.
- Work collaboratively with school staff to maintain a high standard of teaching and learning.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous teaching experience within a primary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A flexible, proactive and professional approach.
- The ability to build rapport quickly with pupils and colleagues.
- Confidence delivering lessons across different primary year groups.
- A genuine passion for education and helping children succeed.
- Reliability, adaptability and a positive attitude.
