A prestigious and highly regarded independent school in Kensington is seeking an inspiring and creative Head of Art to join its talented team from September. The school is looking for an experienced Art specialist with a passion for nurturing creativity and a vision for delivering an engaging and ambitious Art curriculum. This is a part-time position working Monday to Friday, 12:00pm-4:00pm, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or leader seeking greater flexibility while remaining in a rewarding leadership role.

The Role:
  • Part-time Head of Art position Monday-Friday | 12:00pm-4:00pm September start
  • Lead and develop the Art department across the school
  • Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons
  • Organise displays, exhibitions and creative initiatives
  • Promote creativity and artistic expression throughout the school community

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - essential
  • Strong experience teaching Art within UK schools
  • Previous leadership experience or readiness to lead a department
  • Excellent subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
  • Passion for inspiring creativity and pupil engagement
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
