The PRE Department consists of both experienced and newly-qualified members of staff, all able to offer the necessary support for any teacher eager to contribute and make a difference. They are supported by a fantastic team of technicians who are diligent in their preparation and involvement in teaching and learning.
The PRE provision is very successful, providing expert guidance and tuition to help students achieve the highest results possible. The department works as a close-knit group, sharing resources and strategies across year groups. Strong exam results were recorded in 2025, with 69% of students receiving grades 9 - 5 in all GCSEs and 75% obtaining A* - C at A Level.
