The school are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) on a long-term basis with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The role will be full time, working Monday-Friday within class.
Key responsibilities will be;
- Supporting the class teacher
- Supporting students with Autism and Learning Difficulties
- Managing behaviours
- Working with small groups and 1:1
- Leading lessons for Teachers PPA time
- The Chosen candidate will;
- Have the relevant degree or TA qualification
- Have experience working with children / young people
- Understand various SEN needs
- Has a sound working knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Can effectively build relationships with children quickly.
