Graduate Learning Support Assistant – Lambeth Role: Graduate Learning Support Assistant Location: Lambeth (near Vauxhall Station) Start Date: January 2026 | Trialling ASAP Contract: Full-time, long-term Pay: £90-£115 per day Year Group: KS2 (Year 5) About the Role A diverse and ambitious Lambeth primary school near Vauxhall Station is seeking a motivated Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join their Year 5 team from January. The school is particularly interested in graduates who are enthusiastic about education and eager to gain hands-on classroom experience ahead of a future career in teaching, psychology, or SEN support. As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils during whole-class lessons, lead focused literacy and numeracy groups, and provide structured one-to-one support for children who require additional academic or social-emotional guidance. The role offers rich experience across upper KS2, making it ideal for aspiring educators. The Ideal Candidate The school is looking for a Graduate Learning Support Assistant who: Holds a degree in Psychology, English, Education, Social Sciences, Linguistics, or a related field Is confident working with older primary pupils Has strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude Can deliver small-group interventions with clear guidance Is interested in SEN support and willing to follow strategies set by the SENCO Experience in tutoring, mentoring, youth work, or school settings is highly desirable.
