Reeson education have an exciting opportunity for an EYFS teaching assistant to join a wonderful, thriving team in a primary school in the M11 Area of Manchester.
This EYFS Teaching Assistant opportunity is to begin as soon as possible and is for the next full academic year, you will transfer on to a school contract directly. They would like the successful person to start as soon as possible and finish the rest of this school year with them as well.

There is opportunity available in Nursery and Reception so where you will be based will be decided throughout the process.
About the EYFS teaching assistant role;
- This is to support as an EYFS teaching assistant within the early years in an outstanding two form entry primary school located in the heart of a vibrant and thriving community.
- The EYFS Teaching Assistant role is to start as soon as possible and on a long-term basis with temp to perm in place from the get-go.
- This is to work Monday to Friday; each week and the hours will be 8am until 3:30pm with a 30-minute dinner break.
- You will support the teacher in the delivery of the Early Years Curriculum to the Early Years pupils, working in partnership with parents, teachers, and the school to establish a supportive and nurturing learning environment in which children make excellent progress.
- You will plan and lead one to one teaching and interventions with children within the EYFS.
The ideal EYFS Teaching assistant will:
- Have experience working within the early years either in a school setting, private nursery setting or any other similar EYFS setting.
- Have a sound knowledge of the early years curriculum and be able to provide 2 work/education-based references, one from your most recent place of employment and covering a 3-year period
- Have a Level 3 Relevant qualification is desirable but not essential
- Have well-developed interpersonal skills – the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing to a range of audiences.
- Be able to plan, organise and prioritise. * Able to manage good communications systems.
EYFS Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- You will be required to go through our quick and easy vetting process and have 24/7 support from a dedicated consultant.
- Need a clear enhanced DBS certificate that is registered on the online update service.
- You will need to be able to provide two references over a 3-year period, one of which is from your most recent place of employment.
- Relevant EYFS or nursery experience and the ability to create a happy, challenging, and effective learning environment.
