We are working with an outstanding and high-achieving primary school in Barnet that is seeking to appoint an EYFS Teacher from January 2026 on a part-time basis - 4 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Stay up to date with educational research and policies through training, workshops, and reading, while actively implementing all school and local authority initiatives.
- Promote a positive school culture by modelling excellent teaching practice, motivating staff, and representing the school in meetings with governors and external networks.
- Plan and deliver a high-quality, inclusive curriculum that challenges all pupils and supports progress in core and non-core subjects.
- Monitor pupil progress closely, using data to identify and implement effective interventions that close learning gaps and raise achievement.
- Collaborate regularly with colleagues and parents to support individual learning needs and communicate curriculum developments.
Ideal Candidate
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching in EYFS
- Be committed to delivering engaging, inclusive lessons
- Show excellent classroom and behaviour management
- Be a team player with a reflective, proactive approach
