Teach core subjects, including English and maths, while delivering a broad and balanced curriculum. Use assessment to monitor progress, identify gaps and inform future planning. Adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities and additional needs. Establish clear routines and promote positive behaviour. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents to support pupil development. The Ideal Candidate Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Has experience teaching in a UK primary school; Year 3 or wider KS2 experience would be beneficial. Has strong subject knowledge and effective lesson-planning skills. Can create an inclusive classroom with high expectations for all pupils. Demonstrates confident behaviour management and positive communication.
