Overview
Tutor - Basildon Alternative Provision Setting for students with SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health). This is an Alternative Education school catering to students in Years 9, 10 and 11 who have not coped or have been excluded from mainstream school. They can display challenging behaviours.
Role and Responsibilities
- Small group teaching required for subjects including Maths, English, Health and Social Care, Child Development.
- Teaching required up to GCSE and BTEC Level.
- This is a full-time role - Monday to Friday, during school hours.
- Tutor ideally needs to work a timetable across both sites, so must be able to drive to travel to both the Basildon and Romford sites.
- A clear and valid DBS check is required.
