Responsibilities of a Supply Teacher:
- Deliver engaging lessons as a Supply Teacher across a variety of year groups
- Follow school planning or confidently adapt lessons as a Supply Teacher
- Maintain excellent classroom behaviour as a Supply Teacher
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment as a Supply Teacher
- Assess pupils' understanding and provide feedback where appropriate as a Supply Teacher
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and school leaders as a Supply Teacher
- Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times as a Supply Teacher
Requirements for a Supply Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working as a Supply Teacher or Primary Teacher
- Strong classroom management skills
- Flexibility, reliability and confidence to work across different school settings
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A passion for delivering high-quality primary education
