Reeson Education are supporting a secondary school in Sutton who require a Designated Safeguarding Lead on a part-time basis from January 2026.

The Role
The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating and leading improvements in all aspects of safeguarding and behaviour and safety, to ensure that the school operates within the legislative framework. The Designated Safeguarding Lead will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team. The DSL will be responsible for acting upon safeguarding concerns raised by staff, students and external stakeholders and ensuring that multi-agency referrals are made and coordinated as necessary, to ensure students are safe and protected from harm. The DSL will lead the education and training of students and staff in relation to safeguarding, behaviour and safety.
