Reeson Education is looking for a passionate Nursery Teacher to join a fantastic primary school in the M34 area. As a Nursery Teacher, you will lead the Nursery class, delivering high-quality EYFS provision and ensuring every child thrives academically, socially, and emotionally. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on young learners, with a supportive team and an inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Nursery class as the Nursery Teacher, planning and delivering engaging EYFS lessons.
- Support all areas of learning, including outdoor provision, oracy, early literacy, and numeracy skills.
- Ensure the EYFS curriculum is delivered effectively, meeting developmental and individual needs.
- Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where required.
- Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and leadership to provide high-quality education.
- Act as a role model in behaviour management and professional conduct.
- Support children in developing social, emotional, and communication skills.
- Engage with continuous professional development to enhance the provision as a Nursery Teacher.
- Deliver lessons that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning as a dedicated Nursery Teacher.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher with EYFS experience (not suitable for ECTs).
- Strong understanding of EYFS curriculum, child development, and assessment methods.
- Experience planning outdoor learning and supporting oracy development.
- Ability to create a stimulating, nurturing, and inclusive environment.
- Confident in planning and delivering high-quality EYFS provision as a Nursery Teacher.
