The role: Construction Teacher Full responsibility for delivering Construction Teacher duties either in T Levels, BTECs, and City & Guilds Construction Skills qualifications Form tutor responsibility for 5 pupils delivering PSHE Providing engaging and relatable lessons that chime with students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs to encourage them to access learning in and out of the classroom Implement behaviour support strategies under the guidance of the SLT and pastoral team Build strong, positive relationships with students, acting as a consistent and trusted adult Work to develop students\’ emotional literacy, resilience, and social skills Collaborate with TAs, therapy teams, parents/carers, and external agencies to provide holistic supportThe Ideal Construction Teacher We welcome Construction Teacher applications from individuals who: Hold QTS or QTLS or have a pathway to achieving this within 12 months Construction Teacher experience in a UK setting Have experience working with children or young people with behavioural and emotional needs (school-based experience desirable) Are calm, patient, and able to de-escalate challenging situations effectively Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Are resilient, reflective, and committed to continuous professional development Understand the importance of inclusion and safeguarding in educationAdditional Construction Teacher Benefits Keen to appoint to permanent contract subject to suitable probation period 17 training/CPD days each academic year .
