An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Computer Science Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Tower Hamlets from September.
The school requires a Computer Science Teacher initially for one month, although there is a good possibility that the position will continue through to the October half term.
ABOUT THE COMPUTER SCIENCE TEACHER ROLE
The successful Computer Science Teacher will:
- Teach Computer Science and ICT across the secondary age range
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons
- Assess student work and provide effective feedback
- Support students of different abilities, including SEND and EAL learners
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Work closely with an established and supportive department
THE SUCCESSFUL COMPUTER SCIENCE TEACHER WILL HAVE:
- Previous experience teaching Computer Science / ICT in a UK secondary school
- Strong Computer Science curriculum knowledge
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management
- The ability to plan, teach and assess confidently
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and student progress
- Availability from the start of September for a minimum of one month
- QTS is preferred, although experienced Computer Science specialists will also be considered
