Are you an M3 or above Year 5 Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity within a supportive and vibrant school community? If so, I would love to hear from you! I am working with a welcoming primary school in Barnet seeking to appoint a Year 5 Teacher from September 2026.
Responsibilities of this Year 5 Teacher role:
- Stay up to date with educational research and policy developments through training, workshops, and professional reading, while actively implementing school and local authority initiatives.
- Promote a positive and inclusive school culture by modelling excellent teaching practice, supporting colleagues, and contributing to wider school life and external partnerships.
- Plan and deliver a high-quality, inclusive curriculum across the primary phase, ensuring all pupils are challenged and supported to achieve strong progress across core and foundation subjects.
- Monitor pupil progress effectively, using assessment data to identify needs, implement targeted interventions, and close learning gaps to raise attainment.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to meet individual pupil needs and ensure consistent communication around learning and development.
The Ideal Candidate for this Year 5 Teacher role will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching KS2.
