Reeson Education are currently recruiting for a Post 16 SEN TA to join a well-regarded special needs school in Harrow. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm Post 16 SEN TA position starting in September.
The school provides education for young people with additional learning needs, with a strong focus on developing life skills, independence, communication and preparation for adulthood.
About the Post 16 SEN TA role
As a Post 16 SEN TA in Harrow, you will work closely with students aged 16-25, helping them develop practical skills that can be used both within the school environment and in the wider community.

What we are looking for
- Previous experience working with young people with SEN
- Experience within a school, college, care or youth setting
- An understanding of additional learning needs
- Good communication skills
- A calm and consistent approach
- The ability to follow individual learning and behaviour plans
- An interest in developing practical and life skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team
- Experience working with students with SEN, ASD, MLD, SLD or complex learning needs would be beneficial, although relevant transferable experience will also be considered.
