A Cover Teacher is needed in an All Girls Grammar School & Sixth Form in South East London.

This Cover Teacher position will be part time and temporary in the first instance.

If appointed as a Cover Teacher, your duties and expectations will include but not be limited to:

• Covering different lessons
• Managing pupil behaviour effectively
• Engaging with pupils in classes
• Holding good understanding of ICT
• Demonstrating a positive attitude

The rates of pay for this Cover Teacher post will be between 82.14 to 130 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The School

An All-Girls Grammar School & Sixth Form, located in the London Borough of Bexley.

It was established in 1904 and holds the Artsmark Gold award.

There are currently 1000 pupils enrolled at the school.

They are on the list of top 100 schools by The Telegraph.

Exchange programs and educational visits have previously taken place with Cambodia, China, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain.

A variety of famous alumni have attended the school including politicians, athletes and actresses.

Requirements

You will be considered if you\’re a recent Graduate, Unqualified Teacher or experienced Cover Teacher.

Applications are also welcome if you\’re a British trained Cover Teacher or overseas trained Cover Teacher.

All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a Cover Teacher:

• Right to work in the UK
• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
• UK Bachelor\’s Degree or an overseas equivalent
• Experience of working with children/teenagers/young adults or as a Cover Teacher in UK schools
