We are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a lovely mainstream primary school in the heart of Victoria. This is a full-time, long-term role supporting children with SEN across KS1 and KS2, both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. The school is looking for someone who is confident, proactive, and able to hit the ground running from day one.
The Role
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEN and complex needs
- Delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions across KS1 and KS2
- Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO
- Promoting pupil engagement, progress, and wellbeing
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months' experience supporting children with SEN and complex needs
- Strong understanding of how to support pupils with additional needs in a school setting
- Positive, patient, and adaptable approach
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
